DC Holsted

Process ventilation with fabric ducts provides an optimal production environment
In spring 2014, the new Danish Crown slaughterhouse in Holsted was opened. The DC Beef cattle slaughterhouse is today among the most high-tech slaughterhouses in Europe, and about half of all cattle slaughtered in Denmark pass through the facility.
In a equalizing room and three cutting rooms, textile-based ventilation is installed. To prevent condensation, air is evenly distributed along the ceiling via laser-cut holes in the fabric ducts. This solution ensures a stable and hygienic indoor climate, which supports efficient and safe production.
