Control of the air

One of the unique advantages of textile-based ventilation is that we can supply the room with the exact volume of air needed to ensure optimal air exchange and ensure a good indoor climate. This is regardless of whether it is the classroom of a school or the large production hall of industry.
KE Fibertec also has the advantage that with our own weaving plant we can adapt the weaving of the material completely to the customer's needs. We can offer more than 84 variants with several different permeabilities (air passage), so that the solution is tailored to the project and the need for air exchange.
All our materials are permeability-stabilized, ensuring a correct and uniform air passage. This is crucial for the operation of a ventilation solution, where, conversely, large variations in permeability will result in excessive energy consumption if the material permeability is too low, or flapping around inlets because the material permeability has become too high.
In addition, all our materials undergo a stringent quality assurance from thread to finished material with visual inspection of finished woven material, heat treatment to reduce shrinkage during washing and a barcode label for full traceability. We place high demands on all our subcontractors and all raw materials undergo a comprehensive entry quality control before we start weaving the textile.
Frank Hansen explains more about why permeability is crucial for optimal air exchange and how our solution differs based on a high degree of material knowledge and flexibility in design.
