Complete freedom in the design phase
Complete design freedom adapted to your project. Flexibility and tailor-made solutions characterize our TBV systems. The dimensions are freely adapted to fit optimally into the design of the building — without being limited by standard solutions

For proper sizing of a textile-based ventilation system (TBV), it is crucial to take into account a number of essential parameters. Although TBV systems are fundamentally reminiscent of traditional ventilation systems, they require special attention to, things like pressure ratio and pressure loss, turbulence, flow rate, air speed and sound ratio.
A poorly designed TBV system is often easily recognizable, as the dudts can appear oval/partially inflated. It affects not only the visual expression, but to a large extent also the air distribution. Unequal pressure distribution can lead to draft problems in areas of high static pressure and at the same time insufficient air quality; in zones with too low air volume. In addition, incorrect sizing can lead to flapping of the fabric, which can damage both the material and the suspension system.
Proper dimensioning of the sound conditions in the TBV system is also crucial for a well-functioning and comfortable indoor climate.
Design and aerial visualization with TBV Designer
KE Fibertec has developed TBV Designer, an advanced sizing tool based on proven know-how. The program makes it possible to visualize the air distribution, document the technical solution and achieve a realistic sense of space. At the same time, it provides design freedom, as well as detailed information on air velocities in the occupied zone.
See the case below that shows the visualization of the selected solution:

Solutions based on dialogue
KE Fibertec has developed a range of tools and services that our customers can choose to use throughout the project process. We do not sell standard solutions, and therefore documentation and level of detail must be adapted to the needs and the individual project.
Our offers can be divided into two categories:
- Proposals and design
- Extended Project Documentation
Our bidding and design are carefully described in our ISO quality assurance system. In doing so, we ensure that the offer basis and the offer are prepared according to uniform guidelines, and that the customer's requirements are adequately defined and documented. At KE Fibertec, we put great emphasis on ensuring that the final solution is designed correctly at a stage, because it is not only about the proper performance of the textile-based ventilation system, but also about meeting the customer's expectations for the indoor climate. Therefore, already in the offer phase, we will ask for functional requirements for the plant and the requirements for the indoor climate.
All calculations are documented using our unique software, TBV Designer, which is offered to all customers regardless of project size and of course free of charge. Naturally, detailed assembly and maintenance instructions are also always included. In the case of complicated TBV systems, AutoCAD drawings are naturally also included. As part of our extended project documentation, we offer full-scale measurements in our own laboratory and on-site measurements in collaboration with the customer.
