What is free jet deflection?

When the intake air and room air are not at the same temperature, a free jet will bend off either upwards or downwards due to the difference in air density. A heated air stream will deflect upward, while a cooled airflow will deflect downward.

What is comfort ventilation?

Comfort ventilation is a general term for ventilation in premises with requirements for comfort (temperature, air speed, relative humidity, air quality, etc.).

What is relative humidity?

The relative humidity is defined as the ratio of the current level of water vapor in an air mass to the maximum amount of water vapor that the air mass can contain, which depends on the temperature and pressure of the air mass.

What is dew point temperature?

The dew point is the temperature at which a given air mass water vapor content, while cooling at constant pressure, will liquify into liquid water. The dew point describes how close an air mass is to being saturated with water vapor. When the dew point temperature drops below freezing, it is often called the freezing point, as the water vapors no longer generate dew but instead generate hoarfrost.
