Frederikshavn Swimming Pool

In connection with the complete renovation of Frederikshavn Swimming Hall, the old ventilation system was replaced with a modern solution from KE Fibertec, installed by Nordjysk Luftteknik A/S, which was also responsible for consulting and project management. The project is an excellent example of how textile-based ventilation can create a healthy and comfortable indoor climate in swimming pools — where the requirements for air quality and comfort are particularly high.

The old steel ducts have been replaced with 300 feet of 36" MultiWeave fabric duct (Ø900). With the KE DiReJet Hybrid system, which combines nozzles for directional injection with laser-cut holes, fresh air is evenly distributed with a total air volume of 27,000 CFM in the swimming pool. The solution ensures optimal ventilation, high energy efficiency and long-lasting results.

Visitors today experience draft-free and uniform air distribution, where the temperature is kept stable and the indoor climate appears both fresh and comfortable. At the same time, problems with condensation and corrosion are eliminated, making the project a strong reference for ventilation in swimming pools and other moisture-laden environments.
