PRESS RELEASE: US-Based RITE-HITE acquires KE Fibertec AS
Milwaukee, Wisconsin (August 13, 2026) – Milwaukee, WI-basedRite-Hite Holding Corporation today announced the completion of its acquisitionof KE Fibertec, a Denmark-based company.
The KE Fibertec Group,based in Vejen, Denmark, and is one of the leading manufacturers of textile-basedventilation solutions (TBV) to ensure a healthy indoor climate, has beenacquired by the US-based company Rite-Hite, headquartered in Milwaukee,Wisconsin. Rite-Hite employs more than 3,000 people worldwide withinternational business headquartered in Germany.
“We are already adominant player in the market for textile-based HVAC solutions with our DuctSoxproduct lines, and we see the acquisition of KE Fibertec as an opportunity tobring further knowledge, expertise and growth to our business,” said MikeBayer, president of Rite-Hite’s Interior Solutions division. The acquisition ofKE Fibertec secures Rite-Hite’s leading position in fabric HVAC ductwork, whilealso strengthening Rite-Hite’s presence in Europe.

KE Fibertec’s currentowner since 2007, Jysk-Fynsk Kapital A/S (JFK), is undergoing a generationaltransition, which led to a reassessment of whether JFK was the right owner forKE. “We have been very pleased with ourownership of KE, but it has gradually become quite a large company,” says PerKristensen, Director of JFK. Over the years, KE Fibertec AS has developed verypositively and, following several acquisitions within the industry, has becomea significant player in the US and European markets for textile-basedventilation. In total, KE Fibertec currently employs around 160 people, and thegroup comprises eight subsidiaries, four of which are production units.
“From the managementteam’s perspective, and as former minority shareholders, this marks a milestonein the company’s history, which is now coming to an end,” says CarstenJespersen, CEO of the KE Fibertec Group. “We were looking for a strategicbuyer, and preferably one that was already globally active in our field . KE Fibertec willcontinue to operate from its existing facilities in Denmark, USA and the CzechRepublic, supported by local management and local teams, ensuring continuity ofservice to existing customers across the company’s business areas. KE Fibertecwill begin collaborating with Rite-Hite’s global sales, production and serviceorganization, based in Germany, to support future strategic growth.
