Certified indoor climate for the buildings of the future
KE Interior
KE Fibertec offers KE Interior with half- or quarter-round textile channels

Air distribution based on passive thermal displacement
Passive thermal displacement means that the air is blown in at a lower temperature compared to the room air. Due to the density difference (the cooled air is heavier than the warmer room air), the room air is displaced under the duct, and the intake air continues with the direction towards the floor. The flow in space is then based on natural air movements, where the air is driven by density differences and convection currents from heat-releasing activities and processes, hence the term passive thermal displacement. A high heat activity from heat sources causes large convection flows and hence strong ascent of the air and large entrainment of the air around the source.
Thus, a stratification is created in the ventilated room, in which heat and contaminants are carried away from the living zone and sucked out from under the ceiling. A low-impulse system can only be used for cooling purposes or distributing large amounts of isothermal air, as warm air will settle like a duvet under the ceiling. This will result in a short circuit of the intake air and the result will be very poor energy economy.

Comfort ventilation is a general term for ventilation in premises with requirements for comfort (temperature, air speed, relative humidity, air quality, etc.).
The KE Interior comfort ventilation system can be supplied either in a design such as half-round or quarter-round textile ducts that can be adapted to all types of premises, be it an industrial kitchen, a laboratory, an office environment, a production room in the food sector or in the pharmaceutical industry. The unique design means that the air distribution works optimally regardless of the need for ventilation. Even with minimum ventilation in variable air volume (VAV) systems, the ducts will remain neat and without a tendency to become “slack”.
With specially woven polyester materials for comfort ventilation, the materials for the system are manufactured in our own modern weaving mill and have been created for many years of use. Even with repeated washing, the air passage is completely uniform, and the shrinkage is a maximum of 0.5%. In addition, the materials are of course brand approved according to the usual international standards.
The fresh air slowly seeps through the textile surface and is supplied to the room draft-free. With the patented D-Alu suspension system, which can be mounted on all kinds of ceilings, as well as the unsuspected color options, KE interior can be used for comfort ventilation in all types of construction - new or old.
Yes, the KE Interior system does not generate air noise and can be used in recording studios with a requirement of 25 dBA in sound pressure level (tested according to ISO 5135 and ISO 3741).
