Integrated and draft-free ventilation with ceiling panels

With FBS ceiling panels, a ventilation solution is achieved that is fully integrated into suspended ceilings and at the same time acts as an active air distributor. The panel is designed so that it is possible to accurately control where and how the air is blown into the room. The visible surface is actively used to distribute the air, which ensures low blowing speeds, minimal risk of drafts and a low pressure loss.

Optimal solution for auditoriums and meeting rooms

At Hårslev Efterskole, FBS ceiling panels have been installed in the school auditorium in connection with the establishment of a new ventilation system. The auditorium serves as a gathering place for students and staff and accommodates about 100 people at information meetings, lectures and community singing.

In a room with varying passenger loads, it is important that the ventilation can provide sufficient airflow without creating bothersome air flows. The large, active surface of the FBS panel ensures a smooth and calm air distribution that supports both comfort and concentration — even when the space is fully occupied.

Fire retardant and sustainable textile material

FBS ceiling panels are produced in the fire-retardant Greenweave textile material, which is available in a wide range of Cradle to Cradle approved colours.

At Hårslev Efterskole, the panel was delivered in white, so it harmonizes with the other design of the ceiling and contributes to a bright and inviting space. The combination of functionality and aesthetics makes the solution suitable for teaching environments where both engineering and architecture must play together.
