STIGA Sports Arena

Textile ducts with nozzles ensure an optimal indoor climate in the arena
In 2017, the new multi-arena STIGA Sports Arena was inaugurated as a modern gathering point for sports and events. The arena has three halls, where activity levels, personnel loads and heat requirements vary considerably — from daily training and school sports to larger rallies and events with many spectators.
The changing activities place great demands on the ventilation solution. Air volumes and temperature must be able to be adjusted quickly and accurately to ensure comfort for both practitioners and audiences. Therefore, there was a need for efficient and flexible air distribution, which can work optimally in large rooms with high ceilings.
The solution was textile ducts with nozzles based on the KE-Direjet system from KE Fibertec. The system makes it possible to direct the air intake via specially designed nozzles. The heated air can thus be sent purposefully into the living area, where it is most useful, rather than accumulating under the ceiling.
This precise control ensures fast heating when needed and an even temperature distribution throughout the hall. At the same time, a draft-free and comfortable indoor climate is maintained even when the load changes significantly.
The result is an energy-efficient and reliable ventilation solution that supports the arena's many functions and creates optimal conditions for athletes, employees and guests alike.
