Blue Fitness

At Blue Fitness, members experienced bothersome drafts and unpleasant odors in the training rooms as a result of the existing ventilation system. In a gym with high activity, many people and varying loads, high demands are placed on air exchange, humidity control and temperature control — and when ventilation is not working optimally, comfort and training experience are quickly compromised.

In connection with a major expansion of the facilities with an additional training room/crossfit area and a new team hall, the focus was therefore on creating a significantly better indoor climate. The aim was to ensure sufficiently low humidity, efficient removal of odours and an optimal, draft-free air distribution — even under high loads.

The choice fell on textile-based ventilation from KE Fibertec. With specially designed textile ducts, the air supply was adapted to the individual zones, so that the fresh air is evenly distributed throughout the living zone without creating drafts. At the same time, the solution contributes to a stable temperature level and a more comfortable atmosphere — both in the strength training area and in the more intensive training zones.

Etreco acted as a consultant on the project, who, in close dialogue with the centre, advised on the optimal solution and was responsible for the overall installation. The careful dimensioning and adaptation to the size and use of the rooms has been decisive for the final result.

With the new ventilation solution, the foundation is laid for a better training experience, where fresh air, comfort and aesthetics support both performance and well-being.
