The specialty laundry is part of KE Fibertec UK and we have employees that are dedicated and responsible for the daily operation of the laundry. We have high degree of knowhow on our material knowledge and we offer effective washing solutions of all textile based solutions. KE Fibertec, in collaboration with Miele, has developed a washing program that ensures gentle washing, which extends the life of the textile duct.
Hygienic washing (food industry)
Upon receipt, the textile duct is thoroughly inspected for possible wear and defective parts, which, if necessary, are repaired. After this, pre-cooling is carried out followed by KE special washing with afterwash. The canal is disinfected and hygienically treated with antibacterial agents, after which it is gently dried.
KE Specialty Wash
All washing tasks are reviewed for wear and any defective parts before washing. Pre-rinsing is carried out, as well as a thorough additional rinse before washing. The duct is washed with KE special wash with afterwash and gently dried.
Supplement to washing concepts
We offer storage as well as the possibility of urgent washing. In addition, we can offer permeability measurement of the textile ducts and preparation of a condition report if desired. Any repairs can be made in the course of the wash or at the entrance check.
Laundry appointment and planning
We offer laundry appointments with a bespoke plan for washing and maintaining textile based ventilation systems. With extensive experience, we advise and prepare offers based on the operation and use of the system, as well as provide condition reports for all washing tasks. During the planning phase, we can handle the dismantling of textile ducts for service as well as shipping to and from the customer. All ventilation systems are checked and visually reviewed upon receipt to ensure necessary repairs are identified.
Washing and checking
We offer tailor-made washing programs for all textile based ventilation solutions. After washing, special treatments can be carried out, e.g. antibacterial hygienic washing for environments with special requirements such as slaughterhouses or laboratories. The ducts are gently dried and normal delivery time is 2—3 business days. Urgent laundry and weekend laundry are available upon request. All washing tasks will be checked after washing and any repairs will be repaired by appointment.
Storage and delivery
We offer simple and inexpensive storage of customers' spare kits, so that an extra set is always ready for service. We'll notify you when it's time to wash, based on wash intervals that take into account scope and performance requirements. If necessary, we can also assist with the collection of textile ducts for service and deliver the clean, freshly washed channels back to the customer. If the customer needs help with both dismantling and reassembly, we also offer this to all our Danish customers.
