In connection with the establishment of a new, state-of-the-art surface treatment plant in Hjordkær, KE Fibertec, in close cooperation with Prima-Vent A/S, has delivered the complete air distribution systems to DS SM A/S.

In production environments with surface treatment, particularly high demands are placed on ventilation. Air quality must be stable and controlled, while keeping energy consumption at a competitive level. With the new design, the air distribution has been optimized so efficiently that the required air exchange can be significantly reduced — without compromising on working environment or process requirements. The result is significant operational savings.

Various KE DiReJet® systems have been selected, carefully tailored to the needs of each production area. Among other things, KE DiReJet® solutions with Ø24 mm nozzles are installed, which ensure precise and targeted injection in specific zones. In addition, KE Vario systems with Ø48 mm variable nozzles have been used, which allow air volume and throw length to adjust according to changing load and production conditions.

The combined solution ensures efficient and uniform air distribution throughout the plant. By working strategically with nozzle types, sizing and placement, the supply air is optimally utilized, bringing it directly into play in living zones and work areas rather than wasting away in the upper layers of the room.

With the new ventilation design, a solution has been created where energy efficiency, process requirements and a healthy working environment go hand in hand — and where a lower air volume translates into tangible savings on both energy and operation.
