FBS Panels

A characteristic of textile based ventilation is that the entire surface is used as an air inlet area. KE Fibertec attaches great importance to the uniform and draught-free delivery of ventilation air. Creating a good indoor climate in rooms with low ceiling heights can be a challenge, but with FBS panels this is possible. The panels are particularly suitable for use in schools, offices and other comfort environments and can replace traditional ceiling luminaires. As the top of the panel is made of textile material, it is flexible. This makes the panels ideal for rooms with a low headroom and in rooms with low ceiling heights. At the same time, the panels are fully integrated with the ceiling.

Why choose FBS ceiling panels?

  • Easy to install and maintain

The low weight of the panel means that no additional bracing needs to be fitted to the ceiling, and the panels are installed in the same way as a traditional ceiling tile.

  • Fully integrated with suspended ceiling

As the top of the panel is made of textile material, it is flexible. This makes the panels ideal for rooms with a low headroom and in rooms with low ceiling heights. At the same time, the panels are fully integrated with the ceiling. See link for approved suspended ceiling types.

    Suspended Ceiling Types
  • Flexible solution

The design of the panel makes it possible to create a pressure chamber above the ceiling consisting of up to four panels.

  • Cradle to Cradle colours

As we can offer the solution in several beautiful Cradle to Cradle approved colours, FBS ceiling panels are a flexible solution as the ceiling panel can be designed to fit in with the room's design and other architecture.

  • Draft-free air distribution

The entire visible surface is actively used for air distribution, ensuring low inlet velocities and thus draft-free air distribution and low pressure drop. The design of FBS panels makes them advantageous to use in solutions where cooling or isothermal supply is used.

  • Fire retardant textile material

FBS panels are produced from fire-retardant textile materials, with the top of the panel being airtight so that air is distributed into the room and not over the ceiling. The top of the panel makes it possible to control where air is blown into the room.
