LDC FR Materials

Please note:

The LDC material is now called MultiWeave.

Low Dust Capacity materials are woven of multifilament warp yarns (lengthwise), i.e. yarns that are made up of 144 thin uncut fibers. These fibers are plain and smooth with a smaller surface compared to that of the staple yarns.

In weft direction (crosswise), the same type of staple yarns are used as for the HDC fabric, however, the weaving-method is a more simple cotton bond with a smaller surface than that of the HDC fabric.

Consequently, LDC FR materials are never used for low impulse systems - solely for hybrid systems with more than 30% of air through holes or nozzles.
