Displacement ventilation with vertical fabric ducts

Stork in Hengelo, NL, recently installed a textile based ventilation system in a combined storage and production facility. The solution was made in the form of displacement ventilation, and a special feature of this type of ventilation is its vertical fabric ducts.

The light gray ducts run from the ceiling and all the way down to the floor. In total, 30 fabric ducts were installed in the room, 20 ducts, each 33 ft. long and 10 ducts, 16.5 ft., all made of GreenWeave material.

The last 6.5 ft. of fabric near the floor have laser-cut holes evenly distributed in the entire circumference of the duct (KE-Inject System).

By doing so you get a draft-free air distribution and a healthy indoor climate for the workers in the facility.
