New record results by KE Fibertec AS
With 2011 results at a historic high we entered 2012 with great
optimism. However, on the threshold of the new year economists
still disagreed on the prospects of the building industry and on
that background we chose a conservative budget.
|Nevertheless, 2012 has turned out
be another record year and the best year
in the history of KE Fibertec in terms of
turnover and profits before tax.
The total group profits will amount to
approximately 12.3 million DKK before
tax after an increase in sales of 11%.

Supplier to the Olympics
The London 2012 Olympics drew a lot of attention from all
over the world, including KE Fibertec UK as our UK subsidiary
supplied more than 25 installations of textile based ventilation
for swimming facilities, dining halls, shopping areas, and sports
centres hosting both team handball, table tennis, and
With efficient air distribution systems we provided good indoor
climate for both the athletes and the many people around
2012 was an exciting project, and we are proud to have played a
small part in the world's biggest sports event.
The world's first Cradle to Cradle certified ventilation
For many years KE Fibertec has stood up for the
environment and for energy. We are certified according to the ISO
14001 and ISO 18001 standards and our textile materials have been
tested and approved according to the Öko-Tex Standard 100.
Therefore it was only natural for us to take a step up the ladder
of sustainability by developing our CradleVent product which
is the first Cradle to
Cradle certified ventilation duct in the world.
In the Cradle to Cradle concept you see waste as food for a new
production which creates balance in the cycle. When the product is
no longer usable we take it back for disassembly and recycle what
we can in another technical cycle. In this way nothing is
CradleVent® is our contribution to a future-proof and
sustainable product for air distribution in office buildings,
schools, laboratories, sports arenas, public buildings, and other
In view of the shortage of raw materials and increasing demands in
the building industry we strongly believe in sustainable materials
as the key to future growth, and we see sustainability as an
factor in future.
2013 will be the year we - in continuation of our Cradle to Cradle
certification - will introduce a ground-breaking new intelligent
textile concept, InTex, a monitoring system of textile ducts.
With this system we are able to offer a both sustainable and more
energy-optimised ventilation solution.
Expectations for 2013
We have great expectations from our new product concepts,
CradleVent® and InTex which during the year will be
promoted in the fields of sustainability and energy optimisation.
Furthermore, we will continue to invest in the expansion of the
entire KE Fibertec Group. Therefore, we expect the 2013 results to
be at almost the same level as the record year 2012.
