KE Fibertec scores high in new customer survey
In December 2014 Flintholm Global Telemarketing made an
extensive customer survey on behalf of KE Fibertec AS. They asked a
number of Danish ventilation contractors, consulting engineers and
selected architects of their opinion on their cooperation with KE
Fibertec. With an overall satisfaction rate of more than 80% on all
parameters, KE Fibertec scores really high.
The result of the survey is very positive, says KE Fibertec's
Danish sales manager, René Frimodt. We have had a lot of positive
feedback and that tells us that we in many respects live up to the
expectations of our customers.
There is always room for improvement so we will make continuous
efforts to do our best. As an example - and based on many requests
for joint visits in the design phase of a textile based ventilation
system - we have decided to expand our sales force by hiring yet
another salesperson, René Frimodt continues.
The general view among the respondents is that KE Fibertec is a
professional company characterized by good service, high product
quality, on-time delivery and sustainability. But also on
parameters such as image, visual design possibilities and technical
documentation, KE Fibertec scores high.
KE Fibertec scores highest on the following parameters:
- On-time delivery: 89% satisfaction
- High product quality: 88% satisfaction
- Competent consulting and service: 87% satisfaction
- Image in the business: 83% satisfaction
- Visual design possibilities: 82% satisfaction
We are very grateful for the constructive, positive and in few
cases negative feedback that we have received. We have listed some
of them below:
"I always find that I get the necessary service when I call.
The same goes for consultancy, and if I occasionally need extra
assistance for e.g. dimensioning, this is never a problem. I always
receive the goods quickly so in general I am very pleased"
"Quotations are always up to the mark. I cannot recall ever
having to call and remind them of something or make a
"It is of great value to make joint visits with a salesman
from KE Fibertec. I did so in connection with a possible project.
It clearly made a difference as I eventually got the job"
"Yes, I know that KE Fibertec supplies rails cut to size.
That is of great value to us as it saves us the work. The more
articles that are ready for use when delivered, the better for
"Don't copy other suppliers. Instead market the elegant
solutions that can be seen around the country. An example: Play
with ball. On a steel duct this will leave dents, on a textile duct
nothing. Textile ducts are very well-suited for delivery of large
volumes of air and with lack of space. Ducts are brilliant for
In future energy consumption and LCC will become
According to the customer survey the product's energy efficiency
has become a decisive factor when choosing supplier, and this is
used as a selling point in the dialogue with the customer. Very
many ventilation contractors are willing to pay extra to get a more
expensive material such as KE Fibertec's unique HDC material that has a
significantly higher dust holding capacity and with that longer
washing intervals provided it can be documented to the end
Generally, a total economic calculation for the entire duct life
is needed. Overal economic considerations are highly demanded by
both contractors and consulting engineers, and far more focus is on
energy efficiency and the so-called Life Cycle Cost analyses.
Therefore, we are currently developing a LCC analysis tool that
will calculate the total costs in the first 10 years, says René
Our LCC analysis will consider both initial investment,
installation, energy and washing costs. In this way we make it
easier for our customers to compare with competitive products and
their total costs during the entire product life.
The increasing focus on low energy consumption reflects on the
interest for our InTex system that we have recently launched for
online monitoring of air pressure and temperature in textile
InTex alerts the customer or the KE Fibertec partner when it is
time to wash the duct. This means that the customer only has to
wash when required and not according to a fixed interval, René
A healthy indoor climate is an important issue when choosing new
products. It is a requirement that the product contributes to a
good indoor climate and working environment.
The price is always important which the survey shows. In fact,
most respondents think that KE Fibertec's textile ducts are very
competitive. A maintenance manager from a large contracting company
"When I retrofit using ducts I always do it to save money.
Then I tell the customer that they obtain BOTH energy savings and a
better indoor climate"
Once again we wish to thank all respondents for their feedback. It
has inspired us to offer even better service, in particular to the
customers who took part in our comprehensive survey, Sales Manager
René Frimodt concludes.
