Complete and dynamic EPDs for a sustainable indoor climate at Building Green Hamburg
12-06-2024Sustainable construction is not only about the materials and solutions used, but to a large extent also about the utilisation of the buildings, including the indoor climate. A comfortable and healthy indoor climate is key to the health, well-being and productivity of employees, students and all people who spend time in buildings, be it offices, schools, canteens or other comfort solutions with high requirements for energy-efficient and draught-free air distribution.
At Building Green Hamburg from 19 to 20 June, KE Fibertec will be presenting a strong and sustainable range of ventilation solutions that ensure efficient air distribution and a good indoor climate at stand 45. Building Green is one of the largest trade fairs for sustainable and energy-efficient solutions for the construction industry, where many exhibitors present products and solutions that fulfil the requirements for a sustainable future.
At this year's show, we will be presenting our new, third-party verified EPD (Environmental Product Declaration) for our textile-based ventilation solutions. We offer our customers EPDs based on PCR (Product Category Rules), which are based on all parameters from the textile to the aluminium suspension, nozzles and accessories, right through to the packaging used for shipping.
KE Fibertec is the only manufacturer in the field of textile-based ventilation that is able to provide a total carbon footprint. Through our unique TBV Designer software, which is used for dimensioning and quotation calculation, we have evolved to include CO2 emissions in every project.at KE Fibertec we have a high focus on the environment and energy.we want to protect the environment as much as possible, both in the production and transport of our products. At the same time, we want to focus on energy-saving measures and developments within the company that contribute to our goal of becoming CO2-neutral by 2030.
Mainstreaming sustainability has been part of our foundation for many years and we have continuously achieved several important milestones towards this goal. By combining fibre technology and sustainability, we create a good, healthy indoor climate and thus support the building of the future. Textile-based ventilation solutions from KE Fibetec have less impact on the environment because we take the entire life cycle of the product into account.
We work specifically with sustainability in our own production and take into account the future scarcity of resources and the ecological footprint. That's why we offer a cradle-to-cradle certified ventilation solution with our CradleVent® and provide the documentation for the certification of sustainable buildings according to DGNB and BREEAM standards.
Will we see you at Building Green Hamburg?
We look forward to welcoming you to our stand 45 and showing you how we can support your next project with sustainable ventilation solutions.
