Displacement ventilation with vertical textile ducts

Stork in Hengelo, NL, recently installed a textile based ventilation system in a combined storage and production facility. The solution was made in the form of displacement ventilation, and a special feature of this type of ventilation is the vertical textile ducts.

The light grey ducts run from the ceiling and all the way down to the floor. Totally 30 textile ducts were installed in the room, 20 ducts of each 10 metres and 10 ducts of each 5 metres, all made of GreenWeave material.

The last 2 metres of fabric towards the floor has laser-cut holes evenly distributed in the entire circumference of the duct (KE-Inject System).

By doing so you get a draft-free air distribution and a healthy indoor climate for the workers in the facility.
