What is a textile duct?
In principle a textile duct is a round, semi-round or quarter round duct made of a light-weight textile material instead of e.g. galvanized steel, stainless steel or aluminium. As a main rule the textile duct is active, i.e. the entire surface and length works as an air injection unit unlike traditional air distribution solutions that often have many metres of passive plenums.

What are the benefits?
The benefits are numerous, however, one should be aware that a textile duct is part of the room appearance. The extra cost of choosing a duct colour, a suspension system or a shape that matches the room design is relatively low. Apart from the visual result you get a duct that irrespective of length (sections are divided by zips) can be packaged and transported in a carton, that can be installed without using special tools and that can be taken down for washing in an ordinary washing machine once the system has become dirty.
