Why fabric ducts?

Fabric ducts are very well-suited for efficient, uniform, and draft-free distribution of fresh air without "dead zones."

CradleVent

CradleVent is the first ventilation duct in the world to receive the Cradle to Cradle approval by the EPEA Institute in Hamburg.

The certification documents the sustainability of the product and the fact that we take responsibility of its life cycle from Cradle to Cradle, i.e. from production to recycling. By establishing a circle, we can now meet the future shortage of raw materials.

CradleVent is our contribution to a future-proof and sustainable product for air distribution in office buildings, schools, laboratories, sports arenas, public buildings, and other comfort zones.

The increasing demands in terms of sustainability and resource efficiency make it attractive for contractors and architects to use the well-documented CradleVent building component. The fabric duct is available in white, black, gray, and ultramarine blue GreenWeave material.

Cradle to Cradle is documented sustainability
In the Cradle to Cradle concept you see waste as food for a new production, which creates balance in the cycle. When the product is no longer usable, we take it back for disassembly and recycle what we can in another technical cycle. In this way, nothing is wasted.

A Cradle to Cradle certification is a time-consuming process, but for us it was necessary to take responsibility and start designing products that will be useful, rather than harmful, to the environment.

To make the process a success, we have worked closely with Milestone Pro and upholstery fabric producer Gabriel A/S, who was the first company in Denmark to be Cradle to Cradle certified back in 2010. Gabriel has been our coach and inspiration in reaching our Cradle to Cradle goal.

It is very important for us that we can document the sustainability of our products, which is why we have chosen the Cradle to Cradle system as this is the customer's guarantee that we keep what we promise. Cradle to Cradle certified products can give you up to 2 extra LEED v4 points in the “Material Ingredient Reporting” and “Material Ingredient Optimization” categories

Design freedom and a good indoor climate

Fabric Ducting offers many benefits. Fabric ducts are tailored to match the room's interior design and colors. Thus fabric ducts become an integrated part of the building and open up to new architectural possibilities.

With fabric ducts you get an efficient and draft-free air distribution and a good indoor climate. Furthermore, they are easy to transport and install. Fabric ducts are washable, which gives you energy savings as you lower the consumption of energy when the duct is clean.

At Broomfield Hospital in England they have installed fabric ducts in the atrium thus making them a part of the architectural expression.
